Mike Berthiaume Your Realtor in Windsor Essex

Riverside is the largest neighbourhood on the east end of Windsor. Most of the houses were built in the 1950s and 1960s which is reflected in the number of 1.5 storey and ranch homes that commonly sell in the area. There are several different pockets which contain newer developments containing townhomes and/or condominiums. Riverside is also home to much of Windsor's Gold Coast, properties along the waterfront often sell for as much as $10,000 a front foot.. The neighbourhood stretches from Ford Boulevard in the west, to Little River in the east, and from the Via/CN line along the south, to the Detroit River and Riverside Drive in the north. Riverside Drive has the most expensive and beautiful homes and real estate in the city. Riverside Drive has recently seen some bike lanes added in recent years, but continues to be a commuter thoroughfare. Riverside was once a separate town, incorporated in 1921, but was amalgamated into Windsor in 1966.
